Introduction

When I first started numbering FFA charts, I included both male and female lines; hence, this female line of a former FFA member. I’ve decided to keep these female lines in place so as not to confuse the numbering system.

As soon as the FFA finds the parents of Charlotte, this chart will no longer be maintained, but continue with her parent’s chart. Hopefully, it will connect into another male chart. Charlotte French’s parents seem not to be found anywhere. If you find more data, please email marafrench@mindspring.com.

History

Charlotte French was b. ca. 1817 and m. ca. 1840 to Thomas Sampson. They had one daughter, Olive Sampson, b. ca. 1846, who m. Morton J. Sykes in Independence, Iowa, on 17 Mar/Apr 1867. Morton Sykes was b. ca. 1845 in Ohio, was a Civil War soldier.

Thomas Sampson was b. ca. 1812 in England, and lived in 1860 in Parsonville, Buchanan, Jefferson Co., IA. Charlotte’s parents remain unknown.
