[60] Roger Wood, email: roger.wood99@lineone.net. Email good in 2009. Could you please inform if I can purchase one of your past articles. I am researching into a rector of my parish West Hallam, Derbyshire. U.K.  John Scargill, rector 1638-1662. In 2012 we are organising events to celebrate his life. He originated in a village called Knapwell in Cambridge. The connection is his sister-in-law Elizabeth Godfrey who married Frances Scargill. Frances died young and Elizabeth re-married and emigrated to the U.S.A. I have completed a Google search and a brief mention is made to "The Frenchline Vol 1-6 (1984) page 290". I have contacted many libraries.

[61] Andre French, email: andre@nltenterprises.net, email good in 2010.

I am 49 years old, and all my life I have had an interest in the French family name. My grandfather instilled this in me when I was very young. It would appear that the French family has always had a pronounced interest in maintaining their genealogy, and for this I am grateful. I have information leading back to William and Halsted, his son (perhaps nephew) Francis and so on. My line goes form Francis to Francis Jr... Samuel... Noah... Francis... John... James Morgan... Abram Gill... Gregory Morgan... and then to me. I find this all very exciting, and in addition to much of the stories surrounding some of these characters, I have learned some very interesting facts surrounding relatives along the way. Just today, as I often do, I was looking for sites dedicated to such things, and for the first time noticed FFA. I am very pleased to have found it. I have a question for you. I have a son, who coincidently will be attending a school in Cambridge, MA. come September. Actually, he is already there for the summer doing a special academic program. The school is MIT, and is just south of where it all started for the French family in New England. I am planning to be in that area at the end of the month. Might you know of any French's, active in the study of our history and related to William, that may still exist in the area of Billerica? If I could connect with someone there, it would be like a dream come true for me. I would like to visit grave sites as well, and any other land marks that might stir my imagination for centuries gone by. If you have any suggestions, please do pass them on to me. You can reach me by replying to this e-mail or by the phone numbers listed below. Blessings to you, and thanks so much for your hard work evident in the FFA site.

[63] Tommy Morris, email: t_m57@hotmail.com, email good in 2011. My name is Tommy Morris.  I am the last of eight children of Virginia Maley Morris (Robert J. Morris Jr., D.D.S of New Orleans).  My Grandmother was Bertha Delaune Maley (John Henry Maley of Kansas City, MO.).  Her mother was Azema Virginia French Delaune (August Delaune).  Her father was David French (Beaumont).  His father was John Jay French of Beaumont, a descendant of Francis French of Derby, CT. I, along with some of my siblings, would love to know more about our French Family.  Which chart should I look for?  Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
