Had 3 daughters Laurel Doreen, Darlene, and Marjorie who are listed in the 1940 census of Salt Lake City living at 326 South 7th East Street. In the 1930 census of Salt Lake City, Rufus states that he was born in Utah and that his father was born in Michigan and his mother in Utah; however, the 1900 census of Salina, Sevier Co., UT, when Rufus was merely 1 year old, states that his father was born in Indiana and his mother Maggie in Minnesota. In the 1920 census of Salina, Sevier Co., UT, Rufus was living with his parents, Ernest and Maggie Elben, and with his sisters Ruth, Helen, Laurel, and Laura. Rufus registered for WWI when he was 20 years old and a student; he was tall, slender, had blue eyes and brown hair, and was deaf and dumb. In the 1940 census of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co. UH, Rufus lived at 326 South 7th East Street with his wife Lucille and their 3 daughters Laurel 18, Darlene 12, and Marjorie 4.
7.2 Ruth Elben, b. 2 Sep 1901 in Salina, Sevier Co., UT, m. Harold Massey and had son Harold Bernard Massey. She d. 13 Dec 1972 or 12 Dec 1971 and is buried at the Pioneer Cemetery in Salina, Sevier Co., UT.

7.3 Helen Elben, b. 22 Jul 1903 in Salina, Sevier Co, UT, m. Dean Bryan in Ogden, UT, and had children LeDean and Billy Wayne Bryan. Helen d. 15 Mar 2001 in Montana and was buried at the East Side Cemetery in Salina, Sevier Co., UT. Dean Bryan was b. 16 Aug 1893 and d. 19 Sep 1949.

During Art's life he lived in the following places: East Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho; Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho; MorganÕs Alley, Nez Perce, Idaho and in South Gate Plaza, Nez Perce County, Idaho. He lived in Weippe, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1910 census with his parents and siblings. He lived in Gifford, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1920 census with his parents and siblings; he was 18. He lived in Giffort, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1930 census with his wife and brother Charles. He lived in Lewiston in the 1940 census with his wife and 2 sons, Billy and Jimmy. Art died on Sep 18, 1969 in Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho where he is also buried.

His widow Ruth was born on 19 Nov 1909 and passed away on Aug 17, 1987 in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, age 77. He lived in Weippe, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1910 census with his parents and siblings. He lived in Gifford, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1920 census with his parents and siblings; he was 18. In 1943 Lester was living at 738 S. 6th St. in San Jose, CA, and worked as a driver (see directory below).
7.10 Viola Elben, b. 24 Jan 1906 in Weippe, ID (twin to Leola), was the last to die in San Jose, CA, on 15 Jun 1999. She m1. Ralph Wickersham on 18 Jan 1927. He d. 18 Jul 1969 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA. Viola, Ralph, and family moved from Clarkston, WA, to San Jose, CA in 1943 and bought a house on Whitton Ave. and later bought a house at 326 South 19th St., San Jose, CA. They had children Arthur, Dorothy (died in 2006), and Alice Wickersham (lives in San Jose, CA). Alice m. Garis, email: aliceg0218@gmail.com. Viola Elben lived in Weippe, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1910 census with her parents and siblings. She lived in Gifford, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1920 census with her parents and siblings. After Ralph Wickersham died in 1969, Viola m2. Ingolf ÒWallyÓ Wallestad in 1975. Wally d. in Aug 1984. Their son Art Wickersham m. Jackie and lived in 2011 in Sequim, WA, but moved to 14733 S.W. Anna Marie Ct. in Milwaukee, OR 97267 in 2011 and now reside in Oregon City, OR.

Boyer on 7 Nov 1926 in Nez Perce, ID, son of Alva/Adva and Cora Cunningham Boyer in Lewiston, Nez Perce Co., ID. They moved to San Jose, CA, on their honeymoon. He d. 8 Jul 1943 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA. Leola later remarried to Joseph M. Ivester who passed away on Feb 9, 1990 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA. Leola passed away on New YearÕs Day, Jan 1, 1992 in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA. They had children Robert, Evelyn, and Betty Boyer. She lived in Weippe, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1910 census with her parents and siblings. She lived in Gifford, Nez Perce Co., ID in the 1920 census with her parents and siblings. 7.16* Robert Eugene Elben, b. 21 Nov 1923 in Tammany, ID (according to the California Death Records), but according to his wife Jessie Jamieson, he was born in Lewiston, ID. His usual occupation was a truck driver, but he also worked in construction. He also worked at the IBM card plant on South 16th St. in San Jose and they later moved the plant to Campbell, CA. In 1943 he lived aat 15 S. 22nd St. in San Jose. He d. 9 Jul 1974 San Jose, CA, at 50 years old.
