I am the wife of Keith Royston Elbourn (born
14th June, 1946) who is the younger brother of John Henry Elbourn.
Their parents were Frederick and Florence Elbourn
(nee Myres).
Frederick, who was born in St. Albans was the
youngest of four children (Lucy, Edward (Ted), Florence and Frederick). (Lucy's
married name was Payne and Florence's married name was Lancefield).
Florence (nee Myres), who was born in
Liverpool and I know of at least 6 siblings (Molly, Albert, Thomas, Eric, Amy
and Jessie). Florence's brother Eric Myers emigrated to Canada and is the
father of the now famous actor Mike Myers, thus Mike is first cousins to John
and Keith.
Keith and I still live in St. Albans and have two married daughters,
Tracy (17th April, 1967) and Shirley (12th February, 1971). We have 4
Grandsons. Tracy lives in Harpenden has two sons (Aarran and Kaide) and Shirley
lives in Devon also has two sons (Joshua and Harvey).

Marguerite Ellbourn, I am researching Arthur
Edward Ellbourn who, according to his navy record,
was born in Weymouth, Dorset England. A gentleman on the Dorset mailing list
very kindly found his baptism at Wyke Regis in Dorset
England along with his parents' marriage and his brothers' and sisters'
baptisms. The only trouble is there were no less than four different spellings
for the family and, as you can see, some of them are very different from the
actual spelling.

Fred Elbourn came to Canada around the turn of the
century (before 1911, as my Grandfather Fred Elbourn
was born in November of that year). Please email me if you have any

Karen Byers, I have been researching the
Elbourn line. I have found a George Elbourn who owned the "Hotel Elbourne"
in Alleghany, Pa. founded in 1898. George's wife is from Germany. George is
from Canada. It lists George's father as Fred. Maybe we can e-mail and exchange
information.
